- To reach out to all clients attending Ruharo Mission Hospital for Christ
- To offer specialised rehabilitative health services
- To offer specialised eye care services
- To offer preventive, curative and palliative health services
- To reach out to the community with health promotional services
- To sustainably manage hospital resources
- To perform the duties of leadership and guidance of the Diocesan Health Services giving technical support to lower Health Units in close cooperation with the District Health Authorities
- To pursue and sustain partnerships which contribute to the development of the hospital guided by ethical, medical and Christian principles
